This excerise was the first task set of the year and i had to go out and capture image old and new, i decided if i was going to have a picture of something old i had to find the equilivant of it in a new format. I feel this worked as i could relate the different effects on my camera depending on weather or not the image is new or old. This rule of three task naturally draws thecattention to a point about two thirds up the page, i feel only a few of my images capture this rule. I tried to imagine the picture divided into 9 equal sections by 2 horizontal and 2 vertical lines. For a first attempt i feel these images are imaganitive.
