Textures

These pictures were taken off a hotel in Spain, when i took these pictures i felt that i recreated the authenticity that i wanted to recapture. The are more than one different type of Texture in these two images you have the soft edges of trees and the sand, juxtaposing with the hard surface area of the other hotels and the roads.

Research of different Textures

These varieties of textures are all completely different, differing from sand too fire. The reason i chose to upload these textures is because of the authenticity in all of them. They all have there own qualities, in which i want to try and recreate and recapture in my own interpretation.

Flash lighting!

In these above pictures there is a recurring theme of bright colours contrasting with the black background, however, i have also used softer colours and textures such as the leave and the hand. The hand at the very beginning is used to try and capture a shadowing image behind it, the balck nail varnish and black background juxtaposes with the pureness and naturlism of the pale hand. The C.D. works the light well reflecting light beams towards camera i feel that this image uses an almost 3D effect as the light acts as a wall.

Apature, Shutter Speed, lighting and movement!

The aim of this task was to find a photograph/ image that had a clear point in foreground, background and distance. I had to set up the camera and take 4 pictures selecting a different aperture. The tree pictures futher down deffinalty fufill this task.

All of these pictures were taken in the day time, however, after changing to different modes on the camera the effect is as if the images were captured at night time. I wanted to try and capture a narrative with some of the images, the pictures which capture the essense of a storm, loss and loneliness is excatly what i wanted. The darkness of the sky in contrast to the white shorts which the young man is wearing juxtaposes each other, as well as complimenting the situation of good and evil, heaven and hell.

The last few images (in which i changed the apature) should reflect a persons deliberation process and the fact that they are dis-orientated within these thoughts. I feel these images show that and the more blurred they get the more dis-orientated the person feels.

Some of the pictures of the man running also come under my title for movement as i feel i have captured him in his stride whilst running, some of them shots are more evident that he is off the ground in his stride, whereas others are less evident.
